How can I get access to GPT-4 right now

OpenAI, the prodigious generative AI firm, has released GPT-4, the latest iteration of their large language model, which is more advanced than ChatGPT, its predecessor that was unleashed last year. Unlike ChatGPT, GPT-4 is not available to the public as a web app. GPT-4 is the latest release in OpenAI’s series of GPT language models that began in 2018.

GPT-3 was the most sophisticated model prior to the release of ChatGPT, OpenAI’s chatbot product, in 2022. Although GPT-4 is currently the most powerful model from OpenAI, users with free access to ChatGPT will still interact with GPT-3 (or GPT-3.5 to be precise).

How can I access GPT-4 with ChatGPT+?

If users wish to utilize the GPT-4 model, they must subscribe to ChatGPT+. However, this premium version of ChatGPT is only available to paying subscribers.

OpenAI’s announcement page clarifies that GPT-4 is used by ChatGPT, but only if the user is a premium member with access to ChatGPT+.

If the user has a free membership, they have to upgrade it , check left side “Upgrade to Plus” button in the left menu. After clicking this button, a popup window will appear to inform the user about the benefits of the “Plus” upgrade.

By clicking the yellow “Upgrade Plan” button, the user will be redirect to payment page, where they will be required to provide the usual information and pay $20 per month. Once the user has become a paying customer, they will have immediate access to the new model via ChatGPT.
